Tyler Rucker is a senior, and former collegiate athlete (baseball) at New College of Florida. Tyler is also year-round Project Coordinator Intern at the Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative (THHI), where he supports efforts to prevent and end homelessness. 

 

Tyler launched his sports interview channel, Mind Of An Athlete, on social media on August 1, 2025. This channel provides a glimpse into athletes' sharing their perspective and personal stories of their “why” and “what” it takes to be an athlete as well as sharing what their lives are like outside of sports. The sports channel gives younger athletes an opportunity to learn about what it takes to get to the next level and what they can do better at to achieve their goals.

 

MOAA also gives sports fans the opportunity to see athletes outside of their jersey, off

the court and field. This channel helps fans and youth connect with the human side of

sports. The real story behind what it takes to be an athlete. MOAA will interview

athletes in all sports and at all levels from high school to college, professional athletes, as

well as retired athletes.
